AF is proud to be part of the Charter Management Organization Coalition! The organization works with families to advocate for high-quality public charter schools and prioritize our students` needs. With over 320,000 students – predominantly Black & Latinx from historically underfunded areas – the organization’s goal is to ensure every child receives quality education. We recently had the opportunity to go to D.C. and meet with senators and decision-makers to discuss topics like mental health and school safety, highlighting the importance of these issues in our communities. Together, we`re making a difference!
On #GivingTuesday, Achievement First would like to shine a light on this global day of generosity. This day provides us with the opportunity to thank everyone who has helped AF provide a high quality education to our scholars, and all the people who would like to partner with us to improve the learning of many students to come. Because of our dedicated community and supporters, we are able to impact the lives of many scholars, like the ones in this video!
We hope you believe in AF’s mission as much as we do. If you are inclined, you can donate at the link in our bio!
We`re still full (of food and gratitude) after our long weekend! Check out this video sharing how our school leaders at AF North Brooklyn Prep ES showed gratitude for their staff: with pies, apple cider, and recognition for the great work they do for students! We ❤️our staff! 🍂🥧
At Achievement First, today is #gratitudeday and we want to take a moment to show appreciation for all of our families, scholars, employees, and supporters. You make AF special and we are grateful for you everyday! We`re spreading joy today and hope that you are too!

And please rest assured that we`ll have a grand opening ceremony in the springtime when our students and staff have settled in 🎉
Today, we honor the many veterans within our AF community. Our appreciation goes out to Aaron and all the veterans in our community for both their service and contributions to our students.
