That’s a testament to our commitment to excellence and dedication to our students’ success. Meanwhile, University Prep has secured its place as a top performer, ranking in the top 11% in NYC and # 8 among charter high schools in NYC/NY state. We’re proud of our students, staff, and community for making this possible.

Earlier this month, 100+ charter school families, students, and advocates from across the country met in Washington, DC, engaging in three days of impactful activism and solidarity to represent our children and community. Achievement First’s external relations team members Jillian Fain and Nakia Hall, AF families, and other charter schools joined together to address critical issues like charter school funding, gun safety, and mental health, reaffirming our commitment to providing top-tier education and supporting students. With over a hundred meetings with legislators and aides, it was a pivotal moment to champion charter schools and make our voices heard.
In the coming weeks, stay tuned for more on this important day and how you can advocate for our students and even attend Hill Day with us next year!
