We are working to create an exemplary high school program, one that back-tracks from the rigors of AP and College Readiness standards and develops the character skills students will need for success in college. Our high schools have worked closely with top private high schools to create an incredible interactive high school writing rubric. Read more about the development of the rubric in this article.

Our high school writing scores have skyrocketed while using this rubric. Achievement First Amistad High School had the second highest 10th-grade writing scores in the state of Connecticut, topping Greenwich, Wilton and Madison.
