    Jennifer Andrade

Jennifer Andrade is the principal of Achievement First Promesa Elementary School. Jennifer started her career as a founding inclusion teacher at Achievement First Iluminar in 2015. She has served as the founding Dean of Special Services and as an Interim Principal. Her efforts in creating family partnerships and striving for equity in special education to meet the individualized needs of children are shining strengths of her leadership! As Dean of Special Services, Jen set the goals with her team for kids with Individualized Education Programs to show academic growth year over year. In 2021-2022, across grades K-2, students showed growth towards their Individualized Education Program goals with fidelity. In addition, students with IEPs exceeded math growth goals of 90% with 98% growth and showed improvement on MAP with 75% growth of 10 points or more, performing at or above the general education population.

Her deep connection with the Promesa community positions her to continue building on the foundation the school has laid, and we are excited for her next chapter of leadership!
