Our school is near the J/Z train (Gates Ave.), L/M train (Myrtle Wyckoff Aves) & B52, B60 buses.

Bus transportation is provided to all students from .5 miles to 5 miles. Families may also utilize a paid van service or request MetroCards to be used weekdays before and after school.

About Achievement First North Brooklyn Prep Elementary School

Achievement First North Brooklyn Prep Elementary is a public charter school located within the Bushwick neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. Serving students in kindergarten through 4th grade, we are committed to providing a safe environment for students to learn and grow. Our passionate teachers will guide students through common core curriculum and other various subjects necessary to help them stay ahead of the curve academically.

    Mrs. Daliza Lawrence

    Mrs. Daliza Lawrence is the proud Principal of Achievement First North Brooklyn Prep Elementary School. She joined the Achievement First family in 2018 and has served in various leadership roles before stepping into her current position. Before becoming Principal, Mrs. Lawrence served as an academic dean for Kindergarten to third grade while also coaching both science and enrichment programs.

    Before joining Achievement First, Mrs. Lawrence brought her passion for education to Success Academy and Young Women’s Charter School, where she honed her commitment to student excellence.

    Mrs. Lawrence earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology, followed by a Master’s degree in Education. As a proud Latina, she loves this work deeply and believes wholeheartedly in providing equitable education for all students.
    When she’s not at school, Mrs. Lawrence treasures time with her twin boys and husband. She enjoys traveling and creating endless memories with her family.
