Bus transportation is provided to all students from .5 miles to 5 miles. Families may also request MetroCards to be used weekdays before and after school.

About Achievement First Legacy Elementary School

We are so excited to welcome families to our newest school in Queens! Achievement First Legacy Elementary is a public charter school located within the St. Albans neighborhood in Queens, NY. Serving students in kindergarten through 2nd grade, our school is designed to instill a lifelong passion and love of learning, so students can be set up for success both academically and professionally.

    Jessica Eddy

    Jessica Eddy is the founding principal of Achievement First Legacy Elementary School. Prior to her role, Jessica served as an academic dean and dean of school culture at Achievement First North Brooklyn Prep Elementary School, where she also served as a founding first grade teacher through Teach for America. Before joining Achievement First and Teach for America, Jessica began her career in education as a middle school teaching fellow with Citizen Schools New York. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Columbia University, as well as a Master of Arts in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. Jessica also received a Certification of Completion with Honors from Relay Graduate School of Education’s National Principals Academy Fellowship.
