    Felicia Winsboro

Felicia Winsboro is the Principal of Achievement First Legacy Elementary School. Ms. Winsboro began her journey at Achievement First Brownsville Elementary School nine years ago, where she served as a Kindergarten Lead Teacher and then K-2 ELA Dean. She played a pivotal role in increasing reading proficiency, helping Brownsville become one of the top-performing schools in the network for phonics achievement. Wanting to expand her impact,

Ms. Winsboro joined the Legacy community as the K–1 Academic Dean, where she fostered strong relationships with scholars, staff, and families while also driving strong reading and math results. During her time as Interim Principal, the Legacy community has thrived.

She has driven growth in organizational health while increasing the overall instructional vision and clarity on campus. As a proud Caribbean-American, she loves this work deeply and believes wholeheartedly in providing equitable education for all students.

Ms. Winsboro is passionate about ensuring all scholars have a great school experience where they are engaged, challenged, and feel loved. She is excited to continue serving the Legacy community by partnering with scholars, families, and staff to inspire growth, celebrate success, and build a bright future.
