Bus transportation is provided to all students from .5 miles to 5 miles. Families may also utilize a paid van service or request MetroCards to be used weekdays before and after school.

    Colleen Young

    Colleen Young is the principal at AF Endeavor Elementary School. Prior to this role, Ms. Young was the founding principal of AF Voyager Elementary School, which had the strongest founding in our Achievement First history. She also previously served as a high performing ELA academic dean at AF Hartford Elementary and AF Brownsville Elementary. She began her career in education as an elementary school teacher for Visitation Catholic School on the South Side of Chicago. Ms. Young earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College and went on to pursue her master’s degree in elementary education at Northwestern University and her master’s degree in curriculum and teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University. Achievement First staff and families know that Ms. Young is driven by doing what is best for scholars to achieve.
