About Achievement First Endeavor Elementary School

Achievement First Endeavor Elementary is a public charter school located within the Clinton Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. Serving students in kindergarten through 4th grade, our educational curriculum is designed to instill a love of learning and set students up for success in every area of their life. Our teachers will help guide your child through common core and other important subjects to stay ahead of the curve academically.

  • Colleen McKinnon

    Colleen McKinnon

    Colleen McKinnon is the principal at AF Endeavor Elementary School. Prior to this role, Mrs. McKinnon was the founding principal of AF Voyager Elementary School, which had the strongest founding in our Achievement First history. She also previously served as a high-performing ELA academic dean at AF Hartford Elementary and AF Brownsville Elementary. She began her career in education as an elementary school teacher for Visitation Catholic School on the South Side of Chicago. Mrs. McKinnon earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman College and went on to pursue her master’s degree in elementary education at Northwestern University and her master’s degree in curriculum and teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University. Achievement First staff and families know that Mrs. McKinnon is driven by doing what is best for scholars to achieve.
