School Leader

Christina Parés is the Principal of Achievement First Bridgeport Academy Elementary School. Christina began her career as a performer in the tri-state area. She then returned to her original passion of teaching and became an educator at Village Academies in New York City. Christina joined Achievement First in 2009 at AF Bridgeport Academy Middle School. While there, she served as a fifth and seventh grade math teacher, grade level chair, Dean of Students, and Interim Principal. Christina is excited to lead Achievement First Bridgeport Academy Elementary School and bring her breadth of experience to elementary students. She holds a M.A. in education and a B.A. in musical theater from New York University.
