We are always eager for friends to witness firsthand the extraordinary teaching and learning taking place at our schools. Each year we host hundreds of visitors, including educators, politicians, philanthropists, community leaders and concerned citizens. If you are interested in visiting, please review the options below.
Connecticut Visitor Information
The Connecticut visitor program takes place at Amistad Academy Middle School at 407 James Street, New Haven, CT 06513. The program begins at 7:45 a.m. and typically runs until 10:00 a.m. Visitors have the opportunity to attend Morning Circle—Amistad Academy’s unique version of a school assembly—and participate in a presentation and discussion about Achievement First and our schools. Visitors also tour classes at Amistad Academy Middle School and may choose to visit one of our nearby elementary schools or high school.
