Throughout the academic year, we offer a number of opportunities to see our teachers, scholars and administrators doing what they do best. Please review the options below to find the program best tailored to your interests.
Parents interested in Achievement First are encouraged to attend one (or more!) of the information sessions hosted across our Brooklyn campuses. Attendees will hear a brief presentation on Achievement First, meet school leaders, and learn more about our college-preparatory academic curriculum, character development program and enrollment process (translators will be available in districts with significant non-English speaking communities).
Please note that sessions hosted during the day require an RSVP and will include classroom visits. In case of bad weather, cancellations will be posted at www.achievementfirst.org on the morning of the event.
We believe our schools truly speak for themselves and invite community members, elected officials, education professionals and everyone in between to see first-hand what makes an Achievement First education unique. Our Visitor Day program includes light refreshments, a short presentation on the Achievement First history, mission and educational approach, a guided campus tour including classroom visits and a Q&A session. The program begins at 7:45 a.m. and typically runs until 9:45 a.m. To RSVP, please email visitny[at]achievementfirst[dot]org.
If you are interested in applying to be a teacher or school leader at Achievement First and would like to visit a school, please email recruitment[at]achievementfirst[dot]org.
