Mrs. Moses-Rodgers is the Principal of North Brooklyn Prep Middle School. She served as Interim Principal during the 2025–2026 academic year and is a deeply rooted member of the North Brooklyn Prep community, having previously served as Principal Fellow, Dean of School Culture, Orchestra Teacher, and Enrichment Coach.
In these roles, Mrs. Moses-Rodgers helped build a vibrant enrichment program that regularly showcased students’ creativity, talent, and voice. She also brings experience from Linden Elementary School, where she served as an Instructional Coach and music educator. Prior to joining Achievement First, she served as an educator in New Orleans, Louisiana, and as a City Year Corps Member.
Throughout her time at North Brooklyn Prep Middle School, Mrs. Moses-Rodgers has been a steady and grounding presence for staff and students alike. Known for ensuring that people feel seen, valued, and celebrated, she places the growth of students, teachers, and deans at the center of her leadership. She believes that strong adult practice and a strong student experience are deeply connected and must grow together to drive lasting impact.
Mrs. Moses-Rodgers earned her bachelor’s degree from Elizabeth City State University, an HBCU, and her master’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans. She brings passion, joy, a strong growth mindset, and deep community relationships to the role. Mrs. Moses-Rodgers is excited to continue leading and growing the BEST middle school in Brooklyn, Achievement First North Brooklyn Prep Middle School, with purpose and pride.
