Orobosa Edozie is the Interim Principal of Endeavor. Mrs. Edozie brings 12 years of experience as an educator and leader, a strong commitment to academic excellence, and a deep belief that every scholar is capable of extraordinary things. She began her Achievement First journey in 2021 and has spent the past five years serving as an Academic Dean.
Mrs. Edozie is passionate about creating a school where strong teaching, meaningful relationships, and high expectations come together to help scholars thrive. Under her leadership, Endeavor has seen double-digit year-over-year growth in both Math and ELA, driven by a strong focus on instruction and intentional use of scholar data. She is committed to growing educators through intentional coaching and creating systems that allow teachers to do their best work. She also believes that families are essential partners in a scholar’s success and leads Families for Achievement (FFA), Endeavor’s parent organization, to create opportunities for families to connect, collaborate, and have a voice in the school community.
A proud Nigerian American born and raised in South Jamaica, Queens, Mrs. Edozie brings the values of resilience, perseverance, and the power of education into her leadership each day. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English and master’s degrees in early childhood education and childhood education. As Interim Principal, she is committed to creating a unified Endeavor community where scholars feel known, challenged, and supported; belonging is non-negotiable; and excellence is the standard. Her vision is simple: Endeavor Excellence.
