Thank you for your interest in Achievement First Bridgeport schools and/or Achievement First Amistad High in New Haven. The window to enroll in our lottery for the 2017-18 school year closed on April 1. Although the lottery has already taken place for the 2017-18 school year, interested families can submit an enrollment form to be added to the waitlist, by clicking on the button below.
Note: To be eligible for kindergarten, your child must be born on or before December 31, 2012.
We are still accepting applications for Achievement First Hartford Academy (K – 8) and Achievement First Summit (5 – 8). However, seats are limited, so apply today!

For kindergarten and 5th grade, you can also fill out the application - known as “Post-Placement Request Form” (English / Español) - and email it or mail it to Nick Lebron directly. For all other grades, please call to discuss the application process.

Applicants will be notified by Hartford Public Schools about their child’s school placement. The exact date of the district’s lottery for all Hartford Public Schools is TBD, but in recent years has been held in May or June.
All Achievement First New Haven schools – Amistad Academy Elementary (K-4), Amistad Academy Middle (5-8), Elm City College Prep Elementary (K-4), Elm City College Prep Middle (5-8) and Achievement First Amistad High (9-12, enrolling grade 9) participate in the New Haven School Choice Placement Process.
The New Haven School Choice Placement Process enrollment period closed on March 5, 2017. For information on how to join the waitlist, please check back for more information or call Cathy Dumas at 203-913-7355.
The School Placement Process (formerly called the Lottery) will be held at 10:00 a.m. on April 5 at 54 Meadow Street (2nd Floor Conference Room). For additional information, please refer to the New Haven Magnet Schools website.
