Achievement First is proud to serve special education students, English Language Learners, talented and gifted students, and all other students accepted through our blind lotteries. We don’t have admission requirements or interviews, and there are no admission or tuition fees.

Students, teachers and parents work as a team to achieve success.

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Achievement First, home of the hardest-working students in Connecticut! Achievement First schools are free public charter schools in which all students will achieve and climb the mountain to college. Immediately upon entering an Achievement First school, you can feel a sense of joy and urgency, enthusiasm and focus. Students are celebrated and celebrate others in a vibrant community where it is cool to be smart. All Achievement First students are admitted by blind lottery. Like other public schools, there are no admissions requirements or fees. We are committed to serving all students, including English Language Learners and those requiring special services. Achievement First Bridgeport Academy

To enroll in the lottery for Achievement First Bridgeport Academy Elementary or Middle School, click here. You can also pick up a lottery enrollment form at either of Achievement First’s Bridgeport schools, or request an application be mailed to you by calling 203-773-3223 extension 17218. To enroll in the lottery for Achievement First Hartford Academy Elementary or Middle School, parents must fill out the Hartford Public School District Choice Application available here. In order to enroll in the lottery, please select Achievement First as your first choice. Forms must be received on or before January 31, 2013.
