Achievement First Amistad Academy Elementary School is a public charter school located in New Haven, CT. Serving students in kindergarten through 4th grade, our teachers are focused on instilling confidence and a lifelong passion for learning that will help students throughout their academic journey.
Lauren Raimondi is the principal of Amistad Academy Elementary School (AAES). Prior to this role Mrs. Raimondi held many positions within AAES, most recently she served as Interim Principal while serving as the Dean of Special Services. She also served at AAES as 2nd Grade Dean, Special Education Teacher, 2nd Grade Teacher, and 4th Grade Teacher. Prior to her work with Achievement First Mrs. Raimondi taught special education at Sage Park Middle School in Windsor, CT for several years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Education at Southern Connecticut State University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Special Education along with a Certificate in Behavior Interventions in Autism.
