Gabriela left the fashion world and came to Achievement First because she wanted more meaningful and interesting work. And that’s exactly what she found at AF.  Here, our accounting folks are always on their toes, resolving and solving issues to keep the organization running smoothly, and the challenges suit Gabriela well. Growing up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Gabriela was always a strong math student, and she had the support of some great teachers. Now she wants the same for her son, her cousins, and students throughout the country. Her work with AF is helping to do just that.
