Before New Haven, there was New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and El Salvador. But for more than 15 years, Amistad Academy has been a second home to Roxanna. She came to AF for the mission and stayed for the movement. First an ELA teacher, then a dean, she has loved the chance to help students dive into reading and fight for equity and justice. And she’s committed to changing the world—starting with our corner of it, right now.
