From teaching English in Nicaragua to serving as a development director at a Catholic school in the Bronx, to earning his master’s degree at Yale, Brett has always known his career would fuse his passions for education and management. Brett came to Achievement First because he saw an opportunity to develop his management skills at a mission-driven organization devoted to education. He uses those skills to make a big impact: Brett manages directors of operations at a portfolio of eight Achievement schools in New York, helping them oversee all non-instructional aspects of the school day with excellence.
