Thank you for your interest in our Achievement First Hartford Schools! We have three great schools on one campus. We are currently enrolling for the 2024-2025 school year.
To apply:
The on time application deadline is April 5 for grades K-8
The late application will be open from April 14 to June 15 for grades K and 5. Families can apply through the HPS lottery using the link above.
If you are a family, interested in applying for grades 1-4 and grades 6-8 please complete the Interest in Enrollment form below.

Please note: Students entering kindergarten in 2024-2025 must have been born on or before 9/1/2019 under the new CT state law. Families who wish to apply and their child is born between 9/2/2019 and 12/31/2019 can reach out to 860-263-9292 to discuss the options Achievement First Hartford Academy Elementary has for our families who are interested in Kindergarten
Achievement First Hartford schools will continue to enroll until we have reached grade level capacity.
The Lottery
The high school lottery will take place early April. Families will be notified via schoolmint and will be able to begin registrations. There will be two orientations in May and June for families to become familiar with the high school program.
The Elementary and Middle School lottery will take place at the end of April. Families will be notified via schoolmint and will be able to begin registration. We will have orientation and in person registration times through the spring.
To fully complete registration, families must have the following documents available:
Parent/Guardian Driver’s license/state ID
Child’s birth certificate
Proof of residency: mortgage/lease statement, utility bill, pay stub
Child’s immunization/physical records
