Subway Directions

• Take the C subway line to Rockaway Avenue Station.
• Exit the station at the corner of Fulton Street and Thomas Boyland Street.
• Walk south on Thomas Boyland Street (toward Herkimer Avenue).
• Bergen Street is located several blocks from the station (pass Herkimer Avenue, Atlantic Avenue, Pacific Street, and Dean Street).  Walk left on Bergen Street to Achievement First Brownsville Elementary School.

Driving Directions

From points north of Manhattan:
• Take I-95 South to Exit 14 for the Hutchison River Parkway toward the Whitestone Bridge.
• Merge onto the Hutchison River Parkway South.
• Continue on I-678 South.
• Take Exit 7 for I-678 South/Van Wyck Expressway/J Robinson Parkway.
• Merge onto the Interborough Parkway South/Jackie Robinson Parkway South.
• Go 4.8 miles and turn RIGHT onto Jamaica Avenue.
• Continue on East New York Avenue.
• East New York Avenue turns slightly RIGHT and become Pacific Street.
• Turn LEFT at Eastern Parkway.
• Turn RIGHT at Bergen Street.
• Achievement First Brownsville Elementary School is on the RIGHT.

From Manhattan:
• Take I-495 East to Exit 17 W-E to merge onto I-278 West.
• Take Exit 34 for Meeker Avenue toward Morgan Avenue.
• Slight LEFT onto Meeker Avenue.
• Turn LEFT onto Kingsland Avenue.
• Turn RIGHT onto Maspeth Avenue.
• Turn LEFT at Bushwick Avenue.
• Turn RIGHT at Eastern Parkway.
• Turn RIGHT at Bergen Street.
• Achievement First Brownsville Elementary School is on the RIGHT.

From points south of Manhattan:
• Take I-95 North to Exit 13 to merge onto I-278 East.
• Take Exit 27 to merge onto Atlantic Avenue.
• Go 4.8 miles and turn RIGHT onto Rockaway Avenue.
• Turn RIGHT onto Bergen Street.
• Achievement First Brownsville Elementary School is on the RIGHT.
