Our school is near the 3/4 train (Utica Ave.) and the B12, B46, and B17 buses.

Bus transportation is provided to all students from .5 miles to 5 miles. Families may also utilize a paid van service or request MetroCards to be used weekdays before and after school.

About Achievement First Crown Heights Elementary School

Achievement First Crown Heights Elementary is a public charter school located just outside the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. Serving students in kindergarten through 4th grade, our passionate teachers provide the building blocks of success by fostering a lifelong passion for learning. We take pride in providing a non-profit charter school option for families located throughout Brooklyn.

School Leader

  • Mallory Bodhuin

    Mallory Bodhuin is the principal at Achievement First Crown Heights Elementary School. She brings 15 years of experience in education. Initially, Mallory spent a decade as a classroom teacher, achieving recognition as a master teacher. During this time, she authored the 3rd-grade math curriculum for my network and consistently delivered exceptional academic results, with 99% of my students scoring proficient or advanced on the New York State Exam. Over the last five years, she transitioned into leadership roles. As an Academic Dean and Dean of School Culture, Mallory provided guidance to 2nd through 4th-grade teachers in math and science while fostering a positive student culture. Currently, she proudly serve as the Principal of Achievement First Crown Heights Elementary School, having successfully completed the principal-in-residence program. Before my current role, Mallory was Principal at Achievement First Brownsville Elementary School, where she spearheaded staff-wide professional development, supported the coaching and growth of deans, managed day-to-day school operations, and directed the school’s strategic vision.
