Amistad Academy Middle School

*The student enrollment deadline for the 2010-11 school year has passed.*

Amistad Academy Middle School admits all students by blind lottery. There are no admission requirements, tests or interviews, and there are no admissions or tuition fees. We serve special education students, English Language Learners, talented and gifted students, and everyone else who comes through the lottery to our schools.

Amistad Academy Middle School offers grades five to eight. We admit students entering fifth grade. At all other grade levels, waitlist applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis in order to fill spots that may become available throughout the year, though availability is very limited.

Our lottery is run by the New Haven Public Schools as part of their “Public Schools of Choice” program. You may contact the New Haven Public Schools Magnet Office at 203-946-7415 or visit their offices located at 54 Meadow Street.
