Driving Directions

From I-95

• Take I-95 North or South to I-91 North.
• Get off Exit 5 (State St.).
• Turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto James St.
• After one stoplight (the intersection of James and Humphrey/Lombard), make an immediate left into the Amistad parking lot.

From I-91 South

• Take I-91 South to Exit 6 (Blatchley Ave.).
• At the end of the off-ramp, turn left onto Blatchley Ave.
• Turn right onto State St.
• Turn left at the first light onto James St.
• After one stoplight (the intersection of James and Humphrey/Lombard), make an immediate left into the Amistad parking lot.

From Downtown New Haven / Yale University Area

• Take State St. toward Hamden.
• Turn right onto Humphrey St.
• Turn right onto James St. and make an immediate left into the Amistad parking lot.

From the Train / Bus Station (Union Station)

Amistad Academy is about a five minute drive from the train station. You can also take a taxi for about $10. To do so, call 203-777-7778.

• Turn right out of the train station onto State St.
• Turn right onto Humphrey St.
• Turn right onto James St. and make an immediate left into the Amistad parking lot.
