Achievement First Amistad High School
Achievement First Amistad High School in New Haven is our flagship high school. One-hundred percent of its three graduating classes have been accepted to four-year colleges and universities. To learn more about Achievement First Amistad High School, click here.

Achievement First Brooklyn High School

Achievement First Hartford High School
Achievement First Hartford High School is in its founding year. The ninth grade class includes scholars from Achievement First Hartford Academy and Jumoke Academy, which represents our first partnership with another charter. To learn more about Achievement First Hartford High School, click here.

NEW! Achievement First University Prep High School
Achievement First will be opening our fourth high school in the fall of 2013. The school will be located in Brooklyn, NY, and will serve scholars from several Brooklyn neighborhoods. We are currently looking for great teachers to found our new team!

Achievement First's School Leader Immersion (SLI) is an exclusive opportunity for aspiring school leaders to develop the skills and mindset necessary to lead at a high-performing public charter school.

Below are the dates for the 2012-13 SLI events and their application deadlines:

  • SLI #1 in Brooklyn: January 24 - January 26, 2013
    Application deadline: December 14, 2012
  • SLI #2 in Brooklyn: February 28 - March 2, 2013
    Application deadline: January 18, 2013

The Residency Program for School Leadership is a groundbreaking collaboration between traditional public school districts and Achievement First to recruit, develop and support the next generation of school leaders for Hartford, New Haven and Bridgeport public schools. This year-long school leader training and residency program is a unique opportunity for talented leaders to learn and leverage the best practices from both the charter and traditional district school contexts. The program follows a medical school rotation model and includes experiential residencies, seminar-style learning and intense individualized coaching. Residents receive full salary with benefits during the program, followed by a leadership role in Hartford's, New Haven’s or Bridgeport’s highest-need schools to drive breakthrough student achievement.

The Achievement First Teaching Residency provides rising second-year educators with the opportunity to teach at a high-performing urban charter school for the summer. Associate Art Director

The associate art director is responsible for creating, delivering and ensuring a consistent identity and tone throughout Achievement First's visual communications.
