The Achievement First School Leader Immersion Program (SLIP) is an exclusive opportunity for aspiring school leaders to develop the skills and mindsets necessary to lead at a high-performing charter school. This selected group of exceptional educators will engage deeply in every aspect of a school leader's work.

Below are the first two SLIP events and their application deadlines:

  • East Coast SLIP in Brooklyn - January 27, 2012
    Apply by December 16, 2011
  • Southwest SLIP in Phoenix - February 24, 2012
    Apply by January 16, 2012

The principal-in-residence program is a two-year residency for future principals to grow, plan and learn as they prepare to lead an Achievement First school. Principals-in-residence are part of a cohort that provides many opportunities to collaborate, learn and exchange best practices throughout the two years.
